Dental Implants are done under local anesthesia and all procedure, which are done under local anesthesia doesn't make the patient feel any pain. Post-surgery, patients are given medications, which include antibiotics & anti-inflammatory. After doing lots of implant cases, none of my patients complain about any type of operative and postoperative pain.
